Green Architecture and Sustainable Design

Despite the term that seems to change every few years - from ecological design to green building to sustainable design - KITE’s priority on environmentally sensitive design has been constant over the decades.

Our current projects demonstrate this deep commitment and expertise, and range from the first LEED-Home in Providence to new LEED-Silver targeted university facilities. From the KITE archives, the earlier work shown below represents some of of the earliest solar design and earth berm structures in New England.
