KITE has helped create a new and updated entrance, lobby, and newsroom for the WPRI Channel 12 Fox television station serving the greater Providence metro region.  Working in conjunction with interior designer Reece Tormos, KITE designed a new welcoming lobby that provides both security and transparency as well as improved work spaces for the news staff.

The design takes advantage of an existing glass entrance to maximize visibility and transparency, and uses a custom wood and glass screen wall to allow light deep into the secure reception area.

The new entry includes a media wall to be used on-air. The newsroom makeover included new lighting and all new systems furniture plus modular partitions designed for acoustic control, and will also be used on-camera.

Features include a specially detailed weatherproof case for exterior viewing of channel 12's current broadcast.
