Kyle Wedel, Assoc. AIA, LEED-AP

Kyle Wedel joined KITE following the completion of a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree from Kansas State University. To complement his formal education, a great deal of personal and professional influence has derived from extensive travels throughout Europe and studying abroad in Italy.

One of Kyle's primary interests in architecture is the dialogue between construction and design and how they can influence each other when the designer is cognizant of the opportunites inherent in their relationship. Outside the office Kyle enjoys working with his hands and getting involved in construction projects wherever possible. Recent work includes explorations using a limited tool and material pallette to design and build custom furniture.

To further pursue this interest Kyle has worked on multiple design-build projects affliated with academia and community service, including Katrina relief efforts and startng a chapter of Freedom By Design. Kyle brings a strong commitment to making meaningful contributions to the community at large to KITE.
