Kyle Bamrick Earns Architectural Registration
Kyle Bamrick has officially completed all the exams and requirements to become a licensed architect in the State of Rhode Island. Everyone at KITE offers a hearty congratulations for this important professional milestone.
Kyle has served as Job Captain for a number of projects at KITE, including Saint James Episcopal Church in Woonsocket, Stand Up For Animals shelter in Westerly, Harrison Street Live/Work Lofts, and is currently working on a number of projects including the Wellness Center at URI.
To become a registered architect, one must earn an accredited 5-year or 3-year architectural degree, spend a minimum of 3 years earning and documenting work experience, and then pass a series of 7 lengthy exams on topics ranging from site design to structural calculations. The strict regulations are intended to ensure the life, safety, and welfare of the public, and set professional architects apart from designers or draftspeople who have no required training or validation of technical knowledge.
