KITE Celebrates Wins in Rhode Island Monthly Design Awards

RI Monthly has recognized two newly completed projects for the Carter Center for Music Education/RI Philharmonic with a Silver award and Saint James Episcopal Church in Woonsocket, RI with the Bronze in their annual design awards.

As Megan Fulweiler writes about the Carter Center:

"The level of creativity the architects brought to bear (bright colors and durable, cost-effective materials ID different zones) in turning what was basically a homogeneous box into an energized syncopated composition warrants a standing ovation".

...and of Saint James Episcopal Church:

"The straightforward manner in which Kite and his team forged formal entrances, a central lobby, and a new south plaza delighted our pros. 'Minimal changes carried off cleverly' they insisted, transformed the old church, making it far more user-friendly, and yes, statelier."
