AIAri selects three KITE projects for Design Awards
The annual Design Awards given by the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Institute of Architect bestowed recognition on three separate KITE projects, representing a diverse range of projects.
KITE's design for a private residence in Lincoln, RI won the top Honor Award in the Residential category. The jurors praised this contemporary design for its ambitious yet restrained approach and careful detailing.
The School of Architecture Art and Historic Preservation for Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI won a Merit award in the Institutional/Educational category. With its exposed steel structure and open floor plan, the jury felt the spaces were perfect for an architecture school.
Finally, KITE's design for their own offices in Rising Sun Mills in Providence earned a Merit Award in the Interiors category with its airy and light-filled environment that is a pleasure to work in.
